My boyfriend and I shared one bibimbap and one kimchee pancake dish. The portion of them just was perfect for us!! Reasonable price and authentic Korean food!

With five million-ish restaurants to choose from in the theater district, I had no idea where to start and decided to turn to Yelp to help choose. I've been missing ramen, Indian, and Korean food for several months now, so when I saw a bibimbap option with authentic hot stone bowls, I decided that was the spot for me.
Thankfully, it was a short walk from Piccadilly Circus, so after navigating around some construction, I found my way to the "bar" (a long table against a picture-filled wall). A quick glance at the menu turned up what I was in search of: dolsot (hot stone pot) bibimbap. As I've said before in my Yelp reviews, it's not true bibimbap if it's not in a stone pot! However, I might add to that adage that it must also be accompanied by pickled sides. Unfortunately, this version did not come with any of the sides that I've grown accustomed to in Korea, Cali, NYC, CO, and even Reno.
When my server arrived, I asked her if the dolsot came with sides including kimchi and she said it did not. I was taken aback that a side of kimchi was 2 pounds (!!), but, in my desire for a more authentic experience that I've been missing, I went for it. In addition, I ordered hot green tea. I regret neither the kimchi nor the green tea--both were delish.
The tea was brought out by a tall, long-haired gentleman who had the most abhorrent body odor imaginable. Normally, I can forgive a food-service worker with slight B.O. because we've all had jobs that make us run around a hot kitchen or stadium. But this was the result of more than a long shift, it seemed to be just poor hygiene. The stench was so overpowering that the entire meal was unenjoyable (those olfactory senses are SO VITAL to the taste receptors in our brains). Each time he walked by made that mouthful of bibimbap quite unsavory.
However, as far as the food was concerned, I was pleased with the raw-egg bibimbap, though in my haste to order what was familiar, I failed to realize there was no meat on the number-one menu option. This was completely my fault, but seriously? Authentic Korean bibimbap typically comes with at least beef or pork. How was this not obvious to me from the menu?
One thing on the menu that caught my eye and shocked me was the wine--both white and red options were organic and both were from Chile (yay). Even more surprising, the red was a Carmenere varietal--grown only in Chile now that it has been extinct from the rest of the planet for some time. Quite impressive.
What was not as impressive was my dining companion--a spider--that kept crawling on the wall and then quickly disappearing behind the man pictures on the wall. The wall itself was quite dirty--I'm guessing that the employees don't make it a point to wipe down the "backsplash" and as for the rest of the place, the baseboards and walls could really use a cleaning/repairing.
Overall, I can't say it was the worst or the best Korean I've had, but given the other nearby options, I don't think I'll be back. If you need your bibimbap fix like I did, it will do the trick, but don't set your hopes too high. -

Fantastic.
Everything you want from your bibimbap - hot stone bowls, large Gochujang containers, tons of veggies.
My wife and I each got Bibimbap- she got bulgogi, I went spicy pork. Both meats were delicious. The hot stones were plenty hot and did a good job creating chunks of crispy rice in the bottom of the bowl. There were plenty of veggies of all colours.
I love spicy food so was quite happy they provided full containers of Gochujang and the spicy mayo type sauce.
Only downside is it's an extra pound for the egg

Perfect spot if you plan to see a musical in the theatre district of London. Service is efficient and food is awesome. You really can't go wrong. I had the green tea and spicy pork. You get the choice of white or brown rice and there are plenty of extras to choose from. I went with the fired egg. This is a place I would return too. Cheers!

One of my most memorable nights in London was dining at Bibimbap and exploring Soho. This place serves up some legit Korean bowls. I've recent discovered my obsession with beef bulgogi bowls and so when I coworker recommended this place for dinner I almost jumped with joy. And this place did not disappoint. I was served a massively meaty bowl complete with all the veggies (sans mushrooms) and a beautiful fried egg on top. I devoured the whole thing as I knew I would. My only complaint was the service. They struggled to get our orders correct and we had to scoop food off one bowl and put it on another to make it work. If a group of 6 threw them off I can't image how frazzled they might get with larger groups. But once we began digging in we hardly cared about the mix up. They also have a light Korean beer that pairs nicely with the richness of the bowls. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Soho area!
